William Hughes

William Hughes is a postdoctoral researcher in the Community Resilience Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. He received his Ph.D. in civil structural engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2023. His research interests focus on evaluating and improving the resilience of infrastructure systems and communities to natural hazards utilizing physics-based models, data-driven approaches, optimization, and geographic information systems.
