Max Schneider

Max is a PhD candidate in Statistics at the University of Washington. He works on uncertainty quantification and visualization for earthquake models, with broader interest in effectively communicating risk to decision-makers.. He applies a statistical perspective to the intersection of scientific communication, models & forecasts, and the uncertainty inherent in natural hazards. He has previously worked on and communicated models of hurricane impacts, land use change, and human rights abuses.
